VTHH SUMMERSLAM 2021: LET'S BEGIN

Back in 2019, we did something enormously stupid and great: the first annual VTHH SUMMERSLAM. It was a (barely) glorified popularity contest, fast and dirty, and far more complex than it had to be. And now, we're doing it again.

Sane adults are asking why. Strangely, there are several good reasons beyond "because it's funny." Which, it is. However, the last time around, the final "Main Event" post got some of the highest traffic this website has ever seen, and from all over the country, too. I can't explain that but I ain't complaining, either. That means more eyeballs on the artists this website exists to promote.

Not only that, the open nominations format meant I got introduced to tons of new, young talent. And promptly featured them here, too. Without question, that will happen again this year, because there was no VTHH SUMMERSLAM at all in 2020.

All of this begins today, here, now. The nomination form is below, there are eight categories this year to better represent a thriving scene, and you can nominate as many names as you like. Thanks in advance. Enjoy the show. And remember, don't take this too seriously -- it's only sports entertainment, bud.
